DERMAPEN TRAINING

Dermapen Course Structure

Dermapen is a non-invasive, non-surgical and non-ablative procedure for facial and body rejuvenation that involves the use of a needling device to create a controlled skin injury.

Dermapen is considered to be one of the safest skin rejuvenation treatments currently available.

The aim of Micro-Needling (Collagen Induction Therapy) is to stimulate the production of new collagen. Using the skin’s ability to heal itself, puncturing the dermis with microscopic needles triggers the production of new collagen. Micro-Needling produces channels in the dermis which sufficiently stimulate the body’s natural defences to repair the skin, producing concentrated amounts of collagen and proteins to the treated areas of skin.

Topical products applied directly after Dermapen treatment can be absorbed to a far deeper level in the skin, making them more effective.

The Dermapen microneedling pen provides an unparalleled response through the segmented delivery of microneedles, creating micro injuries to the epidermis (outer layer of skin) and dermis (the inner layer of skin). As a result, the micro injuries encourage the body’s innate ability to repair itself.

DermaPen is a skin micro-needling treatment with minimum downtime which promotes scarless healing and natural collagen production in the skin to improve the appearance of scars, acne scarring, stretch marks, wrinkles, pigmentation and rejuvenate the skin.

How does it work?

The treatment involves running a microneedling pen (or Dermapen) over your face, which contains tiny needles which puncture miniscule holes in your skin. The action makes your skin think it's being attacked, forcing it to produce new collagen and skin tissue, which then plumps out pitted scars and fades discolouration.
